Machete attack in Victoria

Sometime around 10 pm last night two attackers carried out attacks on multiple victims on Dallas Road by Beacon Hill Park.

Both attackers arrested.

It has been reported the weapons used were machetes, or very large knives.

All other details are not known as the Vic PD won’t issue a statement. Other than to say it wasn’t random. And that it appears to have been targeted. Although, why then would there have been multiple people attacked?

They arrested two people. So, they know the names of the attackers. But they won’t report the names.

Gee…I wonder why?

I suppose it is possible this was a drug gang attack. Maybe. But, why then not issue names of arrested people?

Of course they don’t want people speculating this is terrorism - countering Islamophobia. However, since 99% of such incidents are Islamic terrorism the logical way to stop speculation would be to announce the names of the arrested. Duh.

Unless…they were Islamic.

I will post a followup when the Vic PD does its job.
